The graph below shows how the rate of car ownership throughout the years starting from 1995 has continued to increase. It is also projected by the graph that car ownership will continue to increase into the future.
From the graph below we can see that the number of people without cars in 1995 is significantly higher compared to subsequent years. Decreasing by 10% going from 40% in 1995 to 30% in 2025.
In contrast, the number of people that own 2 or more cars continues to increase throughout the years. A massive spike can be seen going from the year 2015 to 2025.
While the passage tells us about the percentage of people with no cars, and the amount of people that own 2 or more cars. Compared to the percentages that drastically fluctuate, the number of people who only own 1 car has remained mostly static.
In conclusion, the graph not only shows us how the rate of car ownership has changed throughout the years. It also shows us projections for the future.
