The line graph shows the percentage of female students studying four different university courses (Computer Science, Physics, Medicine, and Law) from 1970 to 2015. It shows how the number of female students changed over time in these subjects.
The number of female students grew in most subjects over time. Law and Medicine had the biggest increase. Physics also went up a little, but not as much. Computer Science first grew, but after 1995, it started to go down.
In 1970, the percentage of female students in all four subjects was low. However, the number of female students in Law and Medicine started to grow quickly. By 2015, almost 100% of Law students were female, and in Medicine, the percentage was over 75%. Physics also increased, but it stayed much lower than Law and Medicine.
Computer Science had a small number of female students at the beginning, but it started to grow until 1995. After that, the percentage began to decrease, making it the subject with the lowest number of female students by 2015. On the other hand, Law and Medicine continued to increase, showing that more women chose these fields over time.
