The graph shown compares the percentage of gratuated students between four different countries in 1961 to 2011, which are Italy, France, Spain and Portugal.

According to the graph, Italy was at about 24% in 1961, which steadily decreased to about 23% where Portugal rised, reaching 30% when Italy was at about 21% at 1971. The trend then increased dramatically between 1991 and 2011, where Italy reached its peak at about 44%. France had the least percentage rate of about 2% at 1961 and increased gradually, which surpassed Spain – hovering at approximately 7% to 1971 – at about ten years later, reaching 10%. However, Spain then soared up one more, exceeding France in 1991, reaching its peak of a little less than 20%.
