In 2005, making calls recorded the highest usage rate, with exactly 100%. The proportion stayed at the same level for the next three years before declining slightly to 97% in 2010. Conversely, the figure for take photos witnessed a considerable growth from 65 to 77 percent over the period shown.
Looking at the other features, it is obvious that text message-related activities and audio recording experience a decline throughout the period. The percentage of users sending and receiving messages fell steadily from 82 to 73 percent in 2008 and then to 68% in 2010. In comparison, the usage rate of record audio diminished slightly from 78% to 75% between 2005 and 2008, before dropping significantly to 63% in the final year.
