Overall, throughout the whole period, the percentage of people studying online in each country steadily increased. Additionally, the rate of growth in three countries accelerated in 2019.
First of all, the percentage of people using online education in Canada was below 3% in 2015. Then, in 2017, it grew, reaching the value of 5%. In fact, over the next two years, it hit the point of 10% and started to increase more rapidly. By 2025, the proportion of people taking part in online education reached approximately 36%, making Canadians the least involved.
In comparison to Canadians, more than 10% of the British were involved in online learning by 2015. In 2019, the percentage increased by 20%. The proportion of participants began to grow more sharply in 2019. Furthermore, it exceeded 55% by 2025, making the people in the UK the most engaged in online education.
