The line graph shows the percentage of individuals aged 18 to 65 who enrolled in virtual education in three countries, namely Australia, Canada, and the United Kingdom, between 2015 and 2025.
Overall, participation in online education increased in all three countries during the period. The UK started higher than the others and reached the top by 2025, while Australia and Canada remained lower but showed steady growth.
In 2015, only about 1% of people took part in virtual learning, and this figure rose slightly until 2025. In contrast, the United Kingdom began at around 11% in 2015 and grew sharply to 57% by 2025. Meanwhile, Australia’s line stayed between the UK and Canada, increasing slowly to about 49%. Canada, on the other hand, started low and ended at around 38%. All three countries showed a small pause or slowdown around 2019 before continuing to rise.
