In detail, one in ten people spent their day at a cinema on Monday, in 2003, while the same indicator for Tuesday was a fifth. Less than a fifth of citizens went to movie theater on Wednesday in the same year, and this figure decreased to around 10% on Thursday. However, just under a third of residents watched a movie at a cinema on Friday, and this indicator peaked at 40% on Saturday, and decreased to 30% on Sunday.
In 2005 and 2007, the percentages of people visiting cinemas on Monday were just below 15% and around 10%, respectively. This figure passed less than a fifth on Tuesday in both years; however, the rate of citizens going to movie theaters in 2007 declined to one in ten on Wednesday. The same indicator for 2005 did not see a significant decline and stood at around 15%. The figure for people going to cinemas on Friday was 30%, both in 2005 and 2007, and these indicators culminated on Saturday with 45% and around 40%, respectively. However, the rate of residents visiting cinemas on Sunday decreased to roughly 35% in 2005, and just above 30% in 2007.
