In 1980, the youngest group only had 20% participated in gallery activities. However, this figure increased to about 25% for 15 year before coming back to 20% in 2010. In contrast, the rate of oldest group stared at nearly 50% in 1980 and reached a peak in 1985 at 50% before decreasing slightly to 41% in 2010.
Additionally, the 25-34 age bracket and the 35-49 age group exhibited similar patterns from 1980 to 1990 when both of these categories gradually declined to 30% in the 1990s. Nevertheless, a majority of residents from 25 to 34 year old went up to 40% in five year later and kept this percentage of people to 2005, which showed a greater percentage of museum visitors when compared with the remain age group, about 2%. Finally, both groups felt to about 35% in the end of the period.
