Overall, it is clear that social media news consumers’ numbers had significantly changed during the two-year period on the other hand people using print fluctuated, while people watching news from the website and TV did not experience dramatic changes.
Looking closely at the details, obviously, the amount of people using social media as a main source of news had a twofold increase from 20 to 40% the figure for print users experienced considerable growth from 40 to 50%. However, this number dropped by half by 2015 at 25%. The number of people using websites and TV maintained relatively the same level, just under 80%. Even though there was a little fluctuation at the first part of the period from 2012 to 2014, the figure did not witness any substantial reduction until 2015.
