The diagram illustrates the proportion of sales of athletic shoes sold by a sportswear company over the course of a year. As a general trend, golden feet and flying boots alternated between being the most popular option.
In the first quarter of the year, flying boots were the least purchased shoe at only 15% which was 5% less than high rollers, the second least sold item. Zed runners made up around 1/3 of sales and the remainder belonged to golden feet. In the consecutive quarter, sales of flying boots spiked to approximately 35%, equivalent to golden feet shoes; high roller and zed runners fell by 1/2 and 1/3, respectively.
Between July and September, high rollers reached their lowest at 5% but zed runners purchases plateaued. Concurrently, flying boots gained traction and had the largest proportion of sales at 40%, resulting in golden feet footwear placing second. During the final 3 months of the year, however, the rankings switched between the 2; golden feet alone made up slightly less than half of all sales while flying boots made only 35%. Both high rollers and Zed runners contributed to only 18%, with the latter making 2% less than the former.
