Overall, white bread has shown uptrend in rising prices of the bread with brown bread showing the same trend as white bread, while wholegrain bread showed significant fluctuations over the period of time. Rye however remained the cheapest bread out of all the other bread.
Wholegrain bread increased significantly in 2002. In 2001 it was priced at 0.8$ but it changed as it increased at sharp rate rising towards 1.80$. Brown bread showed the same trend of growth as brown bread reached it’s peaked in 2005 which was priced at 1.6$.
Wholegrain bread declined from 2002 reaching it’s lowest in 2004 which was priced at 0.7$ it slowly increased reaching back to it’s approximate value of 0.9$. brown bread, however, overall increased even there was a small decline in price in 2004 which steadily rose again back up in 2005 . Rye showed a steady growth of value over the time it’s lowest value was 0.5$ which was on 2002 and showed steady growth reaching it’s peak in 2005 which was valued at 0.7$. white bread remained constant not having any drop in value and rose it’s peak in 2005 which was 1.5$.
In conclusion, brown and white bread became more expensive over time, while wholegrain bread showed volatility and rye bread stayed the least expensive.
