The presented line graph compares the figures for 3 different fuels which are manufactured in a specific European country over a 20-year period, commencing from 1981. Overall, the production levels of petroleum and natural gas witnessed an upward trend, while the opposite was true in terms of coal. Additionally, the amount of petroleum produced in this country was significantly higher than others throughout the period.
In 1981, nearly 100 tonnes of petroleum were manufactured. The statistic then increased to roughly 130 tonnes and remained stable for the next consecutive 5 years before decreasing drastically by over 30 tonnes in 1993. It later received a huge recovery to 120 tonnes at the end of the period.
Regarding the other fuel that increased in the overall production level, in the first 15 years surveyed, its data stayed stable at about 40 tonnes. It then surged swiftly to reach a peak at over 80 tonnes in 2000. In contrast, the production level of coal plummeted dramatically to half its record of 80 tonnes at the beginning after 20 years.
