The line graph elucidates three forest industry production which were produced in a European nation over a 20-year period, starting in 1980. All figures are shown in million tonnes (MT).
Overall, it can be observed that all types of tree generally followed an upward trend throughout the period. It is also worth highlighting that paper’s production recorded the lowest value at the beginning, then reached the highest point at the end of the period.
Regarding production of timber, it stood at around 4.2 MT at first, then increased significantly to 10 MT by 1985. In contrast, the year 2000 witnessed a modest decrease from 10 MT in 1985 to around 7.8 MT. Similarly, in terms of pulp’s production, there was a slight rise from 5 MT in 1980 to 7 MT in 1985 and had a dip at 4.8 MT in 1982. Subsequently, pulp’s production saw a gradual growth from 7 MT in 1985 to 10 MT in the final year of the timeframe.
Turning to paper’s production, its figure stood at 4 MT in the initial year, then it experienced a net increase to the highest point, which was 12 MT in the last year of the period.
