This line chart indicate the percentage of people aged 60 and over in three different countries between 1950 and 2050.

Overall, rate of elderly people in Korea is predicted to significantly increase compared to other two countries which is from 5% to around 22%.

In 1950, Korea has the lowest proportion of population aged 60 and over that is 5 % whilst USA and Spain recored 7 to 9%. The graph indicates that there is huge change in 2010 that Spain and USA number is drastically growing and Spain surpass the USA’s number while Korea’s propotion decreased.From 2030 to 2050, Korea’s propotion of elderly people grow at a breakneck pace from 7 to 22 which is almost three times larger than past few decades and surpass the other nations’ number. USA and Spain is also predicted to growing but not rapidly both country reached around 20% that is twice as large as data in 1950.
