Regarding Australia, it marked the highest profits in 2010, at $28 billion, and kept its lead in 2015 at $28 billion. In contrast, Malaysia’s figures marked the second place in 2015 at $28 billion. However, in the next five years its profit dropped modestly by $1 billion. Although this decline in revenue Malaysia still stood at the second most profitable nation from tourism.
Furthermore, the amount of money flowed into New Zealand’s economy was the lowest among others in 2010, at $1 billion. Nevertheless, it experienced the most significant surge overall, by around one-third, and end at $9 billion in 2015. Singapore’s figure also saw an increase from 2010 to 2015 at $14 billion, and $16 billion, respectively.
