Overall, the amount of money earned from tourism was higher in all the countries in 2015, except Malaysia. Australia earned the highest revenue in both years, whereas New Zealand earned the lowest in 2015 and 2010.
In 2010, revenue decreased at a noticeable rate in three countries, in contrast to 2015. In addition, Australia’s revenue decreased slightly to 28 billion dollars, compared to 2015 which was at 29 billion dollars. Moreover, in New Zealand money generated from tourism sector increased by 3 billion dollars, rising from 6 billion in 2010 to 9 billion dollars in 2015.
Furthermore, Singapore also had similar trend as Australia, its revenue increased from 14 billion in 2010 to 16 billion dollars in 2015. However, Malaysia was the only country where earnings was higher in the year 2010 at 18 billion dollars, and lower in 2015 at 17 billion dollars.
