In 2003, the Children’s books and educational books sales rose significantly at this time. While the figure for sales of Children’s books went up dramatically to 48 million in 2005, the amount of educational books dropped to around 26 million at the same time.
Moreover, the adult fiction books had the highest sales at about 45 million dollars in 2002. The figure for sales of the Adult fiction books hit a free fall to 30 million in 2006, after undergoing an increase to 40 million in 2004. In contrast, the Adult fiction books saw a gradual decline to nearly 30 million in 2006.
