Overall, all fossil fuels produce relatively similar amounts of carbon emissions in the first decade, whereas the second decade fluctuations are noticeable.
In 1990, Gas was the least to produce carbon emissions with roughly about 225 millions tons, while coal was the most and oil being the second highest. In contrast to 1995, gas showed a rise while oil and coal had a decline in emissions.
In 2000, Gas remained the highest reaching 300 million tons and reached its peak in 2010, while Oil and Coal were slightly declining throughout the decade with coal being the least and oil the second least.
