The chart depicts the particular types of the vehicles used by the visitors throughout New Zealand in 2004. Overall, while the proportion of the air transport and coach were relatively high, the opposite trend can be seen that of car and ferry, despite the countries. In addition, the figure for the air was similar in three different countries – British, German, and Korean.
Starting with the biggest percentages first, the figure for the air made up just above 40% – British, Germany, and Korean, while that for Japanese and Australia was around 52% and 22%. The proportion of coach, on the other hand, was predominantly constituted by roughly – 58%, 54%, 48%, 35%, and 50% – in British, German, Japanese, Korean, and Australia, respectively.
By contrast, the proportion of car accounted for about 27% in British, whereas that of German was 33%. While it represented the highest patterns in the figure for Korean, at 45%, that for Japanese and Australia was the same, both constituting at just under 20%. Ferry, however, represented smallest share. British and German, both at around 19%, while Japanese, Korean, and Australian, making up approximately – 8%, 5%, and 12%.
