In detail, the figures for British and German had similar transport preferences. The coach choice was the most popular transport in both nations, accounting for roughly 58% for British and around 56% for German, respectively. Air travel was the second popular choice, with approximately 42% of people from both countries. As for car, about 35% of people in German used cars, which was about 7% higher than British individuals’ usage. The ferry was the least popular choice in both nations, accounting for 20% in both counties.
In contrast, Japanese tourists used air travel most at around 53%, which was around 5% higher than its coach usage. As for car transport, 20% of people in Japan preferred to use car, which was nearly 12% higher than its ferry usage. In Korea, its visitors preferred cars most, accounting for roughly 48%, which was approximately 4% higher than its air travel usage. Coach transport was also popular choice in Korea, with about 36%, while the figure for ferry was the least popular choice, accounting for around 5%.
