The line graph showcases the consumption of energy generated by the Sun in four nations.
Overall, the usage of energy obtained from the sun in the USA and China showed an upward trend, while Japan followed the opposite pattern. Alongside, Germany remained stable with a slight fluctuation, taking a place as the nation with the lowest number of consumers using solar power.
During the period between 1999 and 2015 the USA accounted for the largest use of power derived from sunlight by rising gradually from approximately 7500 to 18000. Similarly, China shared the same upward trend with the USA with a sharp increase from zero consumption to just under 12000 and considerably outnumbered Japan with Germany throughout the period.
The use of energy captured from solar radiation in Japan has shortened from 6000 to around 3500 by the final year. Despite steady fall, Japan continued to dominate over Germany, which fluctuated around 3000 and remained the same.
