The graph illustrates the percentage of Twitter users in the USA across four different age groups from November 2010 to May 2013.
Overall, Twitter usage increased in all age groups over the given period. The 18–29 age group consistently had the highest proportion of users, while the 65+ group remained the lowest throughout.
In November 2010, around 14% of 18–29-year-olds used Twitter. This figure rose sharply to a peak of about/approximately 32% by December 2012, before dropping slightly to just under 30% in May 2013. The 30–49 age group also saw a steady increase, rising from (fluctuating/variated in between 8% and 19%) about 8% to 19% by the end of the period.
The 50–64 group experienced more gradual growth, increasing from around 6% in 2010 to nearly 14% in 2013. The 65+ age group consistently had the lowest percentage of users, fluctuating slightly but ultimately rising from about 3% to 5%.
