Overall, the figures for sectors had upward trends except for transport and communication which witnessed a fluctuation throughout the given period.
First of all, the figure for electricity, gas, and water supply was the dominant acid rain emissions production, at 3.4 million tonnes. Then, it plummeted exceeding declines in other industries and transport and communication, at 0.5 million tonnes in 2007. Additionally, other industries began at over 2 million tonnes in 1991, remaining stable over the first three years before decreasing steadily to around 1.8 million tonnes in the final year.
Meanwhile, domestic and transport communication produced a small amount of acid rain emissions starting at 0.6 and 0.7 million tonnes, respectively. Additionally, the former witnessed a stable from 1995 to 1997 around 0.5 million tonnes, which was followed by a steady fall over the next 10 years to 0.2 million tonnes. On the contrary, the latter showed a fluctuation until 2007 (varying between 1 and 0.7 million tonnes).
