The graph illustrates the percentage of unemployed people in Ireland and the number of general public migrated to another country between 1998 and 2008.

Overall, during these period of time both of statistics fluctuated and both of showed the lowest point in 2000.

In 1998 the rete of unemployment reached its peak and around 40000 people left country. Then, the rate of leaving people increased dramatically and achieve its the highest point with more than 60000 people in 1999. However, in this time unemployment decrease slightly and after this, it rose again but next, it started going down significantly while there was fluctuate rate in number of leaving people.

From 200 to 2008 , both of statistics indicated up and downs. In addition, the percentage of unemployed people was approximately 10 % in 2008. In this time around 45000 people went away from thir country. The best result was showen in 2000.
