The graph below delineates the consumption of fish and some different kinds of meat in an urban area in 1979 to 2004.
Looking from an overall perspective, it is readily apparent that the most huge consumption in 1979 takes beef. Simultaneously, the last place takes fish.
Initially, in 1979 the rating between chicken, beef, lamb and fish were in different comsuption, the beef was on top with 220 grams per person, and the chicken and lamb had almost the same comsumption, chicken is 145 grams, and lamb is 150. The lowest consumption had fish, 55 grams per person. In 1984, beef had fluctuation with very little rises and falls and reached 235 grams, while chicken had a slight rose to 160, then lamb decreased lightly, and at that time fish had fluctuation around 50. Looking to 1989, the beef had drop to 200 grams, then chicken increased to 195 grams per person, while the lamb had diminish till the 105, and the fish remained the same with very tiny fluctuation.
At the beginning the period between 1994-2004, in 1994, beef had slight rose to 190 grams, then chicken still had the light increase to 235, while the lamb decreased to 75 grams, and fish still remained the same with very small fluctuation. In 1999, the chicken grew till the 240 grams per person, and beef had the drop to 135 grams. The lamb was having slight fall from the start, at the same time it had 65 grams, while the fish remained the same with very tiny fluctuation. The last year is 2004, there was grew in consumption of chicken till the 250 grams and reaching its peak, in the same time beef was having drop to 105. While the lamb had fall till the 60 grams per person. The most stable fish was remained the same from the start with very little fluctiation.
