While the line graph gives information on how many people went to cinema, dowloaded music and others and bought DVD,measured in arbitrary, for 7 consecutive year, starting from 2005 the two pie charts demonstrates the percentage of people who chose these three categories in two different years: 2005 and 2011.
Overall, the number of people buying cinema tickets was always higher than other types by far. In addition, regarding the pie charts, while porportion of people watching online increased rapidly, the figures for cinemar goers and those who rented DVDs went through a period of considerable decline.
In terms of line chart, Going to the cinema was the most common recreational activity in 2005, standing at around 9, being 1 and 3 higher than buying DVD and legal downloading, respectively. In comparison to the number of people who purchased DVD, which fell to roughly 4 in 2007 before growing dramatically to about 9 in 2011, the figure for those downloading legally soared to over 10 in 2011 and exceeded the former in the last year to become the second popular entertaining type.
Scrutinizing the pie charts, in 2005, over a half of people renting a DVD which was 10 times as many as people downloading legally, but in 2011 the latter ascended to 56 % and became the most chosen form. In similar to renting a DVD, people preferring going to the movie theater accounted for around one third in 2005, and then only made up one fifth in 2011.
