The bar chart compares how many million tonnes of coffee were produced in Brazil, Columbia, Indonesia, and Vietnam between 1990 and 2010.

It is clear that apart from Columbia, the quantity of coffee made in all countries experienced a sharp increase over the period. In addition, Brazil consistently manufactured by far the largest amount of coffee, whereas Vietnam produced the least almost all years shown.

In 1990, Brazil came first with around 0,7 million tonnes of coffee produced, closely followed by Columbia, at about 0,6. The figures of coffee production for Indonesia and Vietnam were significantly smaller, at only about 0,2 and 0,1 million tonnes respectively.

In the following years, the pattern of coffee production for 4 countries remained unchanged until the year 2010 when the amount of coffee manufactured in Indonesia comparatively significantly surpassed that in Columbia whose total coffee production was just around 0,3 million tonnes, which equalled the number recorded for Vietnam. Meanwhile, the quantity of coffee made in Brazil finished the period by reaching a peak of roughly 1,9 million tonnes.
