Overall, the number of yearly visits from two countries to the UK fluctuates for both holiday and business purposes. Notably, the annual quantity from America is higher than from France for all intents and purposes.
Regarding holiday purposes, the most visitors from two countries peaked in July, with visitors from America and France reaching 3 million and approximately 1,5 million, respectively. Similarly, from January to July the most two countries have tended upward, the traveler’s number from America starting at just under 1 million, lower than France. In addition, during the next six months, both countries gradually dropped and by December seemed to return to their original position at 1 million.
In terms of business intentions, both countries show similar trends. In January, about 0,15 travelers from America went to the UK for business activities, which is three times higher than the number of visitors from France. Furthermore, the number of two countries gradually increased over the first five months, and peaked for the first time in May at 0,3 million and 0,2 million, respectively. After this peak, both areas experienced a slight decline before reaching a second peak in October with 0,35 and 0,2 million for both countries before continuing to decrease during the following months.
