Overall, the percentage of attendance visit cinema increases and staying stable during the period, while frequency group had downward trend after 1997. The young generation group from 14 to 24 aged spend time in cinema the most and the elderly over 50 years old was the lowest.
In the beginning of the period, the propotion of attendance starting at 62% with the average visits ratio is 10.3. From 1997 to 1998, the cinema attendants rate increasing slightly to 72%, but the ratio of frequency was rising to 11.1 then fallen dramtically to 8.3. After the percentage of attendance and the rate of frequency fallen gradually, 70% and 8.2 respectively in 1999, the statistics of these two aspects increasing back to 72% and 8.3.
Initially, the teenagers aged group from 14 to 24 had the most percentage of cinema visits in 1996, starting 15 turns. Following by, 25-35 aged group with 14 turns and the group of age fro 35 to 49 with 12 turns. Lastly, the group of people more than 50 years old was the lowest with 10 turns in 1996. All this figures had the same trend, for instances, the group of 14-24 increasing significantly to 22 turns in 1997, before there was a dramatic decrease to 16 turns in 1998. After the number of turns continue with a sharp rise to reach the peak at 23 turns in 1999, then ending with dropping down to 18 turns in 2000.
