Overall, internet use increased in all three countries. Canada had the highest percentage at the end of the period, while Mcxico had the lowest figures throughout the years.

In 1999 about 20% of people in the USA used the internet. Canada had a lower figure at around 10% and Mexico had the smallest number, at about 5%. From 1999 to 2003, Internet use rose quickly in both the USA and Canada. In 2003 canada reached nearly 60%, while the USA was slightly lower at about 50%.

After 2003, the percentags continued to rise in all countries. By 2009, Canada had the highest level, at almost 100%. The USA also increased but more slowly,ending at around 80%. Mexco showed steady growth during the period and reached about 40%bin 2009.
