The line graphs illustrate the children by age group as percentage of the young population in the United Kingdom between 1990 and 2001.
An overview of the graphs presented a drastic shifted in the percentage of the young population throughout the years. Children from the age 15-19 exposed as the highest age group in 1990 at marginally above 26%. On the other hand, children from age 10-14 started off the lowest withjust roughly above 23%. Throughout the years the percentage of the young population shifted drastically with many lower age group increasing its population, while the most populated age group ended up decreasing.
The most populated age group for youth population in 1990 is aged from 15-19 years old with roughly just above 26%. The second most populated age group between 0-4 years old followed up marginally at below 26%. Moreover, Age 5-9 population remained in the middle with approximately 24.5%. Lastly, youth population from age 10-14 remained respectively low with just above 23%.
However, as years went by, youth population from age 15-19 dropped dramatically until 1994 at just the same pecentage the age group 10-14 started off in 1990. Nevertheless, the population did in fact slowly rose up in the following years. In contrast, youth population from the age group 10-14 years old drastically surge up. in 2001 age group in fact, ended up with its population slightly higher than where the age group 15-19 were at in 1990. Futhermore, the age group 5-9 remained mostly stabled shen compared to other age group with some ups and downs, however it did not dramatically fell or rose. Moreover, one of the most populated age group such as 0-4 years old ended up decreasing its population following the age 15-19. Even though its graph did shoot up or remained unchanged in a short peroid of time. However, it did not appear to impact the overall drop of the population.
