Burglary was consistently the most frequent crime, while robbery remained the least frequent throughout the decade.The overall trend for burglary was a significant decrease , whereas the number of incidents for car theft and robbery stayed constant over 10 years
Burglary started at approximately 3400 in 2003 , peaking in 2004 at around 3800. Following 2004 from 2008 its rate fell sharply from around 3,800 to just 1,100 between 2004 and 2008 and remained stable from 2008 to 2012 . Car theft began at around 2800 incidents in 2003 and remained fairly steady, fluctuating between 2000 and 3000 over the whole period. Its lowest point was in 2006(about 2100) . By 2012, car theft had recovered to its highest levell since 2005, ending at approximately 2700 incidents, showing little change compared to the starting figure in 2003.
Meanwhile the robbery remained the least common type of crime throughout the 10 years, starting at around 700 in 2003. the figure experienced slight fluctuations, reaching just under 900 in both 2005 and 2010.Like car theft, the robbery rate in 2012(around 700 incidents) was similar to the rate in 2003, remained at a similar level over the 10 years
