The graph above illustrates the growth of traffic since 1950 to 2000 in Netherlands using different modes of transportation(cars, train, bicycle, other public transports)
As we look at the graph, the major increase or a very drastic change is seen throughout the years in the usage of cars which has been causing a lot of traffic in Netherlands. From 1950 to 2000, it has increased from 0 to 150%, being the Blargest Cause of traffic.
On the contrary, The other modes of transportation has affected traffic but there’s no drastic change. For example, the use of train has increased from 0 to 20%, considering train carries a lot of people than a car. 20% traffic is not significantly much. The use of bicycle also has effect of about 17%, while other public transports (like buses, vans etc) have little contribution to traffic growth of about 15% overall.
This graph demonstrates how cars are causing the most traffic in Netherlands comparing from 1950 to 2000.
