In 1990 Saudi Arabia produced around 8 million barrels per day,which was more than double that Iran and Iraq standing roughly at around 4 million and 2 million barrels per day respectively.The UAE and Kuwait had slightly lower capacities about 2 million barrels per day each ,whereas qutar production was minimal at just around 0.5 million barrels per day.
