The bar chart below illustrates how many oil in millions of barrels per day produced 6 Gulf countries from 1990 to 2010. Overall, it is clear that every country’s except Qatar’s oil production capacity increased during the whole period. The highest oil production was in Saudi Arabia, followed by Iran, while the lowest production was In Qatar.
From 1990 to 2010 Saudi Arabia’s, Iran’s, Iraq’s, and UAE’s oil production increased gradually. We can see the same pattern for all this countries. Oil production of Iran rose from 2.6 millions of barrels per day in 1990 to more than 4 millions in 2010, while Saudi Arabia’s oil production was the highest in the every year of the period in comparison to the other counties of Gulf. Saudi Arabia produced more than 8 billions of barrels in 1990 and this number rose significantly to 14.2 millions in 2010.
However, the only country without gradual growth of oil production is Qatar. The number of all production in this country fluctuated around 0,4 millions of barrels produced throughout the whole period. This is lowest number of oil production of all five countries.
