In comparison to these two nations, Spanish and German fruit producers decreased their scale by the end. In Spain, their initial production made up the highest amount, at 5.6 million tonnes, and then reached its peak point, 6.0 million tonnes, in the next decade. However, then, a gradual decrease was observed, declining by a million tonnes by the end. Despite this, they remained as a most-fruit-producer. Additionally, German producers saw a decrease in their production volume, reducing about a million tonnes by the end, representing the lowest amount with about 1.1 million tonnes.
