Overall, the most common country for gorilla numbers is Uganda in 1990 and 2015, respectively. By contrast, in Rwanda, species numbers represented the lowest result in 2015.
In 1990, Gabon had the smallest gorilla population, with numbers ranging between 0 and 2,500, which was relatively low compared to other countries. In addition, Cameroon and Angola represented approximately same results as Gabon. However, in Nigeria the number of gorillas was higher and accounted for 2,500 in both years.
Uganda depicted the most dramatic rise of above 7,500 in 1990, which also became the most popular area among others; in 2015, the figure showed alsomt 7,500 gorillas. Central African Republic took a place as the second most popular country. In 1990 it accounted for above 5,000 and in 2015 lower than 5,000 respectively. Furthermore, Rwanda depicted 2,500 gorillas in 1990. However, in 2015 it decreased twice and stood at around 1000.
