It is clear that the number of people taking part in rugby has gradually decreased, while the amount of tennis players has continued increasing during the mentioned period. Badminton and Basketball owned the relatively stable number of players over the twenty years.
In 1985, the number of rugby players was 250, ranking first out of the figures of four kinds of sports. This was also the peak of the amount of rugby players before it has continued decreasing during the later 20 years. Followed by tennis, basketball, and badminton with the corresponding figures were 150, about 80, and 50 respectively in 1985.
Between 1985 and 2005, the amount of tennis players increased sharply and surpassed the number of rugby players in 1995, thus becoming the leading kind of sport in the region until 2005. By contrast, the number of rugby players decreased to only 50, placing the bottom positon out of four kinds of sports at the end of the mentioned period. The number of badminton player were stable at the level 50 while this figure of basketball fluctuated around 80 from 1985 to 2005.
