Overal, we can clearly see that in the beginning of a given period very few individuals sticked to a vegetarian diet, and it remained stable, until it skyrocketed after 2015.

According to the illustriation, there was an increase from around 180000 vegetarians in 1980 to approximately 250000 in 1985. However, in 1995 it dropped to 200000. The amount of people who followed a vegeterian diet had a growth in 2000(about 400000 people) this didnt remained long and fell to just above 200000 in 5 years.

As can be seen in the figure, after 2005 during the next decade vegeterians amount remained stable around 200000. Furthermore, the changes between 2015 and 2020 were significant. There was rapid jump to almost 930000 individuals who decided to be vegeterians in 2020.
