The line graph illustrates the number of UK teenagers following a vegetarian diet.
Overall, there were many changes throughout the given time period, and their number has significantly increased in these 40 years.
Firstly, in 1980, there were approximately 180,000 individuals who were vegeterian, marking the lowest point for the group. In the first 5 years the number climbed up to just below 300,000 people from their first number, and Until 1995, their number slightly fluctuated and became around 200,000 people. From 1995 to nearly 2002, they witnessed a considerable increase in the first half and started to moderately decrease again around 2000.
After this period, their number slightly dropped down from 2005 to 2010, which was just below 200,000. Until approximately 2014, the number of this group relatively remained stable. In a point between 2012 and 2015, the group started to sharply increase until 2020, which was from around 200,000 people to almost 950,000.
