The bar chart compares the quantity of overseas students, who has graduated from universities in different Canadian provinces from 2001 to 2006.
Overall, in 2006 most of the provinces had more alumni from all over the world than in 2001, whereas the universities of the Alberta province witnessed a slight decline of those.
The New Brumswick’s colleges attracted the largest number of international students in all years, starting with about 7 percent in 2001 and then ending with almost 12 in 2006. Universities of Quebec began with a little over 6 percent and showed the least growth of approximately 2 percent. At contrast, the Alberta province illustrated a slight drop in international alumni of almost 2 percent.
The British Columbia demonstrated the greatest increase of overseas students by starting at slightly under 5 percent and ending at hardly above 10 reaching the level of Nova Scotia. Manitoba, Newfoundland&Labrador, and Ontario had almost the same number of international students throughout the years, for two of which the quantity grew from a little less than 4 percent to around 7, and from over 3 percent to 6 for the latter.
