As for watching, the percentage of men who prefer watching football and horse riding and racing are equal and represent the highest levels of watching compared to other categories, at 45%. The watching badminton level is a little lower, making up around 28%. In contrast, the percentages of young men who prefer watching rugby and badminton are two-thirds of that of football and horse riding and racing, at approximately 30%.
Regarding participation rates, the highest percentage was recorded in fishing, accounting for a half, which is two times as high as the participating rates of basketball and badminton, at 50% and 25% respectively. Rugby is more popular than horse riding racing, at 20% and around 18%. The lowest percentage is recorded in football, representing 10%, which is one-fifths of proportion of participating fishing.
