Overall, between 1960 and 2020, the proportion of vegetarian UK adolescents showed a increased trend. Initially, starting at the lowest point, followed by a steady rocket in 1980.
Looking at the line graph, in 1960, there were not any vegetarian UK adolescents. Since then, it had risen dramatically in the following twenty years and peaked to the highest point at around 17% in 1980. Unfortunately, it showed a reverse trend until 2000. It decreased sharply from 1980 to 1990, followed by a slight increase in 1992 before levelling off to its lowest point at nearly 4% in 1996 and fluctuating until 2000. Since 2000, it had illustrated a significant recovery to around 11% in 2010 and remained the same until 2020.
