Overall, the Japan will have highest number of elderly people, who are 65 and above age. While, Sweden and USA will have fewer senior citizens compare to Japan during 1940 to 2040.
In details, in 1940, the highest number of elderly people were staying in USA, which was 9 percentage. Second highest senior citizens were resided in Sweden about 7% in 1940. However, in Japan, the lowest proportion of elderly inhabitants were living about 5 percentage. After two decades the percentage of older people in USA and Sweden were increased to 10 percentage and 9 percentage respectively. Whereas, the Japan’s older population went down to 2% in 1960.In 1980, it was seen that in Japan the population on elderly people remain stable. Meanwhile, the USA and Sweden saw constant rising in older people’s population about to 15% and 12%.
After four decades, In Japan, it was seen that the proportion of elderly habitants were significantly increased to 10 percentage. While, the USA’s elderly people population gradually fell down to 9%. Meanwhile, Sweden demonstrated fluctuation in elderly people’s population and reach to 20%. In 2040 the prediction of population on elderly people will raise in UAS about 23%, Sweden about 25% and Japan would have almost 26%, which will highest among three counties during these 100 years of duration.
