Overall, all of the sales figures witnessed an increase by the autumn season over the analysed year. Most notably, the category of women’s clothes was the leader and overtook other categories throughout the entire period.
In winter, women’s clothes stood at around $40,000, making them the highest figure compared with other categories, while sports equipment accounted for $30,000. Moreover, men’s clothes and cosmetics started at the same level during this season. Jewellery had the lowest sales.
In the next season, sales increased in all categories, except for men’s clothes, cosmetics, and jewellery. Notably, women’s clothes rose sharply to about $60,000, whereas men’s clothes and sports equipment reached roughly $40,000 and $25,000 respectively. By contrast, jewellery also remained in the lowest place among all analysed categories.
A further increase was witnessed in summer; women’s clothes climbed to $60,000, while men’s clothes increased from $20,000 to $40,000, almost doubling over the period. In the same season, sports equipment halved, and cosmetics witnessed a slight increase in sales. Turning to jewellery, it also increased to around $30,000.
