Overall, there was a rise in book sales at all bookshops, with Barnes & Noble having the highest figure at the beginning of the year, whereas Frugal Muse was the lowest. Moreover, sales of books at Frugal Muse increased, overtaking those of Barnes & Noble in November, and the figure for Cozy Corner fluctuated before leveling off.
As can be seen from the graph, the number of books sold at Barnes & Noble in January was 23,000, which was the highest of three bookstores, then it gradually increased to approximately 29,000 in May. Following this, the sales rose significantly to over 40,000 before its figure declined until reaching a low of about 27,000 in December. Regarding the quantity of book sales at Cozy Corner, which started at around 18,000, then decreased to the lowest point at 15,000 in February, following this, it fluctuated upward to roughly 33,000. The data subsequently dropped sharply to around 22,000 before remaining stable by the end of the period.
The total sales at Frugal Muse, on the other hand, increased slightly from 5,000 in January to nearly 9,500 in February then experienced a gradual fall to about 4,000 in May. From this point onward, book sales at this store saw a dramatic upward fluctuation until December. By the end of the period, the figure had risen to just over 35,000.
