Overall, there are five main features that the tourists argue are the best (museums and galleries, the friendly inhabitants, the summer art festival, cafes,bars and restaurants, and other features). It’s evident that the summert arts festival is the visitors’ main attraction. Other features are less talked about.
The most popular feature in Edinburgh is undoubtly the summer arts festival which has 36 per cent of foreigners’ votes, taking up the vast majority of the chart. Whilst less popular features belong to the “other” section with only 10 per cent of visitors who appreaciate them.
Furthermore,the rest of the features on the list have an okay percentage of non-citizens enjoying them. These include mainly the city’s friendly inhabitants (22 per cent of votes), followed by the museums and galleries, along with the cafes,bars and restaurants who both have 16 per cent of votes.
