The diagrams compare the average protein intake and average calories intake in four areas.
Overall, the four regions have the same rank in both average protein intake and average calories intake, with the North America always be the first place. Also, both the average protein intake and average calories intake in the other three areas besides North America are below the ideal level.
In the first diagram, India, which has the lowest average protein intake in these four areas, has an intake of 50 grams. The intake of East Africa is about 55 grams; just a bit higher than India. Latin America, is 5 grams higher in average protein intake than East Africa. It is noticeable that the North America, which is very different in average protein intake, is the only area that not only has the intake above the ideal level(80 grams) but also more than half of its average protein intake is other protein in the graph.
In the second diagram, the average calories intake over North America is 4000 grams, the highest value in the diagram. Latin America achieves the ideal level of approximately 2750 grams. Followed by East Africa, which is the area that has average calories intake of 2500 grams.
