Given are two bar graphs displays the percentage participation of both men and women in two education-level, namely secondary and higher education, in four districts.
From an overall perspective, it is evident that the female participation rate precedes male one in terms of secondary education apart from East Asia; however, males are tempted to study in higher education than women except for Europe.
To begin with, as illustrated, the highest rate of partaking in secondary level belongs to girls in Europe, at approximately 100%, which is just 10% higher than men. However, the same trend has been observed in higher education in the same region, its adult population has been halved, between 40 and 50 percents, for both genders. Similarly, the second-highest rate is related to girls in Latin America, at 48%, just some percents are higher males in the similar location. Nonetheless, in terms of higher education, male participation rate has overtaken their female one, at about 30%.
In contrary, boys in East Asia are the first group among the others who has the highest taken part in secondary level compared to girls, at almost 50%, which is just 5% higher than women do. Having said that the lowest partaking rate in both secondary and higher education own to genders in SSA. Regarding the secondary level, female participation rate has been doubled in comparison with male, which is 20% to 10%, although boys have shown more willingness in higher education.
