Overall, with the immigration of people to the UK, the overall number of population increased. It is also clear that most of the country was occupied by Asians.
Turning to the first chart, the number of UK citizens grew year by year. Initially, it experienced a steady rise from approximately 30,000 to 60,000, naturally with a marginal fluctuation. Despite plummeting to nearly 40,000 in 1995, a figure then rocketed, reaching its peak of 120,000 by the end of the period.
With regard to the bar graph, where various nationalities were compared, the number of Asian people grew sharply from 19,000 to 50,000. Interestingly, both Africans and European Americans constituted 9,000 in 1996, shares of which exhibited a rapid rise, with the former showing 39,000 and the latter 27,000. Furthermore, merely 5,000 people were from Australasia along with other unspecified origins, dropping considerably to 4,000 in 2002.
